Buddy Cup, one of the first cases of Internet of Things (IoT) in Brazil that upgraded the good old habit of toasting, but now, making friends on Facebook.
To do this, we made a study of interactions, physical and virtual. The glass had a microprocessor in the base, integrated with several sensors that detected the typical movement of a toast. When two glasses approached in this movement, the circuits emitted a signal for an application making a mention in the timeline of each user.
The Büddy Cups were individuals and each consumer received a glass with a QR code and a shortened URL. Then just connect to Facebook through the URL, toast and check on your timeline all the people you met at the bar
